I saw the following headline in my Inbox today:

My first thought was the early news of the day that Silver Lake was close to finalizing a deal for Avaya.
$7 Billion worth of phone systems would certainly be a milestone. ;)
Fact of the matter is, Avaya announced that it has crossed a new milestone in the sale of its award-winning Avaya IP Office systems. Now more than 100,000 small and mid-sized organizations around the globe are using IP Office to serve an estimated 3.6 million users.
