TMC/IPCC Sears Tower Party
Our TMC/Internet Telephony party in partnership with the IPCC was a hit and all the attendees seemed to be very happy with the location and the networking opportunity. We had a pretty clear day and the views were breathtaking. I haven't had a chance to upload the photos but hope to do so soon.
SuperComm 2005 Impressions
If you didn’t acquire a company, have an IMS or IPTV (video) product at SuperComm, you may as well not have been there. WiFi telephony was hot as well but at least in my meetings the focus was on the first 3 items above. I will write more about my meetings soon. In a nutshell there is renewed optimism in all communications markets. One vendor was worried that IPTV is overhyped and others seem to be confused about what IMS is. IMS is a very confusing topic and our cover story on the topic in the June issues of Internet Telephony Magazine seemed to help clear up some confusion. We will be writing more about IMS online at TMCnet as well as in ITMAG. We will have extensive content on both topics at Internet Telephony Conference & Expo this fall. In fact we will have an IMS Summit focusing on the topic. Hope to see you there at the
