Pika Asterisk-Based Device

Pika Technologies has just released an Asterisk-based appliance which developers can use as a platform to get into the small phone system business. The system supports 100 trunks/ports and can allow a company to rapidly get into the private label phone business. TMCnet’s Tom Keating has the details.

iPhone UK

The Apple iPhone has finally made its way to the UK according to the Wall Street Journal. The company said O2, the U.K. mobile arm of Spain's Telefonica, has been awarded rights to sell the iPhone, which will go on sale Nov. 9 and will retail for £269.

A spokesman for O2 said the iPhone would sell with tariff's of £35, £45, and £55 per month.
