iPhone as Invention?
November 2, 2007
Is Apple’s iPhone an invention? I wonder. I would have said it was an invention until I started reading Russell Shaw’s blog where he has the definition of invention spelled out.Russell says, “The iPhone strikes me as more applied technological craftsmanship than “unique intuition” or “genius.”
He is right I guess but then again when I compare an iPhone to the office phone on my desk it is like comparing an apple tree to a glass of orange juice.
