Monsoon Day

Today was monsoon day here in Connecticut and we have had our share of cars breaking down and floods. It was a struggle to drive to work as the rain poured down when I got on the highway. It was almost like thick white fog coupled with large puddles that required careful navigation.
 
Thankfully I made it in and have been scanning some news sources today and haven’t noticed many earth shattering events. I was however pretty excited to hear Marriott is going to make their hotel rooms gadget friendly. Why? Well I will be traveling a great deal soon and hopefully I will run into one of the hotels allowing guests to connect various digital devices to their flat screen TVs.
 
I have a slew of meetings and magazine deadlines today but I get the feeling my meetings may be delayed due to the monsoon taking place outside. If so, you will hear from me much more often today.
