In what may be the most amazing CRM announcement of all time, FreeCRM.com claims to have taken over the number one spot in hosted CRM. This relatively new company, FreeCRM, has done what seems undoable. What is not clear is who their customers are. Are they using the software or have they merely signed these people up? Are they trial customers or customers that will be around in a year.Most importantly, how many people are paying for the service as the professional version costs $9.95/month per user and includes a ton of features.Salesforce.com has the following pricing Team edition is $995/year for 5 users.Professional edition $65/month per user.Enterprise $125/month/userThe Salesforce.com Team edition allows 5 people to use the system so that comes out to $16.58 per month compared to $9.95 per month for FreeCRM.FreeCRM also has an enterprise edition.Is a few dollars a month enough of a reason to try a new CRM company?
