DIGICEL GROUP LAUNCHES DIGICEL POINTS
Loyalty Program Designed to Reward Customers
JUNE, 1, 2005, KINGSTON, JAMAICA - Digicel Group, the fastest growing mobile telecommunications company in the Caribbean, today announced the launch of Digicel Points, a new program designed to reward Digicel's loyal customers.
Starting today, Digicel customers will automatically start to accumulate loyalty points that can be used to receive significant reductions on the state-of-the-art mobile phones offered by Digicel, such as the impressive Motorola Razor. Customers can redeem their points, starting in October, by simply bringing their mobile phone into any Digicel dealer store. There are no limits on the number of upgrades per year, and customers can check their points balance by sending a text message to a dedicated Digicel Points number.
According to Digicel Commercial Director, Sarah Gill, "Now more than ever it pays to be a Digicel customer. Digicel Points is not an exclusive scheme but open to every one of our customers and starts automatically. Points do not expire and customers can purchase additional points as they please."
Every time a Digicel pre-paid customer tops up their phone, they will earn a certain number of loyalty points. For Digicel post-paid customers, points will be earned based on monthly call usage and added to their monthly bill.
"Digicel Points is our way of giving back and showing appreciation to our loyal customers. We are aware that our tremendous success over the past four years across our eight
