Omniture is working with a number of universities in an effort to better educate students on electronic marketing. Of course for students this means they use Omniture tools so there is some implied bias but then again, Apple had great success in part because of their early linking with schools.
This is great news for marketers as there are many in the marketing world today who just do not understand the online world. I know this from my various meetings with marketing departments in communications and tech companies.
We obviously want the next generation to have a better understanding of this fast-growing and crucial medium.
