For those of you that rely on Google Adwords for advertising or Adsense to generate revenue from your website, you will probably be unhappy to learn that the ad servicing mechanism on Google was down starting sometime after 1:00 PM today. It goes to show you how important Google has become to many companies as millions of users are not seeing ads and subsequently there are many clicks and subsequent purchases that arent taking place. What is most amazing is that ads dont appear on many of their partner sites or the search home page. Whether this is a virus or a denial of service attack or just a programming error remains to be seen.
