EU Fines Microsoft $1.35 Billion

The EU just fined Microsoft 899 million euros or $1.35 billion for failing to comply with a 2004 antitrust ruling which focused on the world's largest software company charging unreasonable prices.

One wonders how any acquisition will get approved in the EU in light of these circumstances... Especially one of Yahoo, the world's most popular website.
