No Room For Trash

July 17, 2007

I am sitting on a flight now and the person next to me is young... perhaps
in his twenties. I know he is young because he broke one of the cardinal
rules of flying. Never ever ask a flight attendant on a domestic US flight
to take your trash when she/he is passing out the beverages.

In the flight attendant handbook it is actually required to snap at
passengers when they break this rule. The person next to me almost had his
head removed. Do any of my readers have access to the flight attendant
handbook which discusses this issue?

Perhaps passengers should receive a written warning about this offense prior
to take-off?

RE: No Room For Trash

They shouldn't be rude, but did you hear about the passenger with bacterial Meningitis flying from Orlando to Witchita on AirTran? I'd prefer that persons trash being disposed of far, far away my little bag of peanuts! Really do you think they should put persons trash or who knows what right next to the stuff they're going to serve people?
