So this morning was fun as I had a 7:00 AM flight and had asked for wake up calls at 3:30 and 3:45 AM. Neither came and a coworker called me a while later wondering where I was. When I finally woke up it was 5:40. Somehow? I made the flight.
Amazingly, security was quick and things seemed to work out.
But as is sometimes the case, when you are rushing, things don?t go as well as you would like. My contact lenses wouldn?t go in my eyes and all my toiletries hit the bathroom floor (thankfully no glass broke).
Finally the rental car return took forever. Once we got to a gate agent, everything sped up considerably and I arrived at my destination. I will be writing more as soon as I can.
