As the worlds of Skype, SIP and Asterisk become ever more popular, it was only a matter of time before a company started to converge the three. TMCnet’s Tom Keating has some analysis of a new gateway from Italy-based Skip2PBX… The people behind the gateway that seems to connect to everything but the kitchen sink. October 30, 2007 at 6:54 amI was just at a recent trade show and noticed that this Skip2PBX Skype gateway software also now works with Sangoma hardware. It is not only limited to Digium and in fact seems Sangoma has partnered up with this product now as well!
Skip2PBX has already sent me a demo and the installation is very straightforward and the operating system is completely self-contained!
These are excellent developments.
