The plane has been flying for an hour or so and I believe we have the same Captain so a recent blog entry was not entirely accurate. All the flight attendants on this flight are new however.

All these years I took that second engine for granted.

According to fellow passengers, one of the flight attendants on the last flight had a mini breakdown. This was not confidence inspiring for fellow passengers but I can't blame this attendant.

It is likely difficult to screen someone for their ability to project the positive outlook needed in such a situation.
