I am not at all surprised that the NSA is recording all calls. Many of my friends in the DSP business told me about the massive quantity of boards they sold to the government during the downturn -- after 9/11. The primary use for these boards is speech rec. The security agencies certainly weren’t building IVR systems or prepaid calling card apps. No one in telecom should be surprised by this news.
