Today, Rich is in Dallas, Texas. Last night he was supposed to go to a Yankee game but due to weather and traffic he was stuck for many hours on the highway. 100 MPH gusts blew over a tractor trailer. Rich was supposed to meet people at the stadium and the people he was supposed to meet got to the stadium on time.

 

While Rich was stuck in traffic the people he was supposed to meet were gathered together and taken below the stadium as there was a tornado watch.

 

Rich ended up eating at a restaurant called Pappadeaux and was amazed at just how good the food was. When he got to his hotel… Surprise! No power. 300,000 people in the local area were also without power. Rich thankfully charges all his devices incessantly and has spare batteries and had to use his laptop and cell phone to see where he was going.

 

When he woke up with a wake up call consisting of security banging on his door, he surmised power was still out. A quick press of the remote control showed the TV was out.

 

He got up, packed and went downstairs to find a place where the water actually ran. When Rich opened the faucet, a large quantity of air was emitted. There was a Bally’s Total Fitness in the vicinity and the hotel worked out an agreement where guests could shower.

 

Rich walked into the gym with a huge suitcase and got some weird looks from other people. He realized there were gym clothes in his suitcase and decided to work out. Many interesting looks were directed at Rich’s suitcase and even some comments were made about it in the locker room.

 

When Rich finally decided to take a shower… Surprise! No towels. The hotel was nice enough to deliver a number of towels to the gym for Rich and others to use. He finally got ready and left the gym and started his day.
