AT&T Overcharging Troops

Here is an article on how AT&T overcharges our troops in the middle-east. I haven’t had a chance to investigate this myself but it seems like an important enough controversy to pass along to my readers.

Before I get into my comment, let me say that I always support the USA's military personnel, though I don't always the USA's military policy. But support or not, if these alligations are well-placed, it really is a shame. The troops go through enough over there day after day, to deal with something like being over charged for phone calls is unacceptable. Reminds me of the story I heard on the news recently about a soldier who got injured by an explosion and sent back to the states medically disabled, and was then charged $700 for the body armor that was damaged in the explosion. Absolutely unacceptable. I'm not holding the president personally responsible for every thing that goes wrong in a country with nearly 300 million citizens, but somebody has to be held accountable for this stuff. It just is not acceptable.
