Heading Back to NYC

I had a great time speaking in Dallas and I met some interesting people looking to implement VoIP in their companies. There was a healthy split between enterprise and contact center companies that I met with and the question that many of them are grappling with is when to switch to IP. As I mentioned in my keynotes, the time is now. There is widespread adoption of VoIP going on today from the contact center to the enterprise to the government... Service provider and consumer markets are blossoming as well. Every market that could embrace VoIP is doing so. Obviously not everyone has VoIP in their networks... It will take some years before VoIP is the primary way of transmitting telephony but for now it is great fun educating people about this growing technology.
