The second day of ITEXPO is off to a great start. I am in the Reseller Solutions Day room where the panel kicked off at 8:30 am. Here is a shot of the panelists and the audience. Surprisingly most of the room at this show consisted of telecom and not datacom VARs. It was about 70/30 in the direction of telecom VARs.

 

General themes of the sessions. Margins are shrinking, ensure you have residual income on data lines, hosted solutions, etc. Make sure you are doing network assessment.

 

It seems the audience was very hungry for the information being provided. We are close to wrapping up the first session and surprisingly SIP trunking hasn’t come up yet. I wonder if there will be a question on it.
