Judges Rule For VoIP

I just learned that Judges In Pennsylvania will have IP-based panic buttons that link to security forces. By integrating the Cisco IP Communications network, the IPCelerate,IPsession server is able to identify each judge by name and specific location whenever a panic button is pushed.  Each judge is issued a radio-frequency alert button, which they carry with them at all times.

This is a really novel application and of course is possible because of the underlying IP infrastructure. Sure this sort of solution has been around prior to IP but now that IP is on the scene, new companies are coming our with security solutions that tie into the IP PBX making such solutions even more secure.
