Liberty Bell Telecom Picks VoX

VoX Communications is doing very well in the wholesale VoIP market. I think the dual strategy of wholesale/retail is very smart. Disclaimer: I’m a shareholder of eLEC. Still the combination of wholesale and retail means you can make more money without the need for doubling equipment and staffing cost. Now, can they execute in the retail market as well as they do in wholesale? Time will tell but there are some very bright people behind this company (excluding myself of coursewink )

Colorado-Based CLEC to Begin Offering VoIP Through VoX

CELEBRATION, Fla., Oct. 10, 2005 - VoX Communications, Inc., eLEC Communications Corp.'s (OTCBB: ELEC) wholesale and retail provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services nationwide, announced today that Liberty Bell Telecom, a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) in Colorado, has selected VoX's advanced wholesale Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services in order to immediately expand their service offering by offering private-labeled VoIP services to residential and business customers nationwide.

Founded by national consumer advocate Tom Martino, Liberty Bell Telecom offers local, residential and business services throughout Colorado. "The changing regulatory environment encouraged us to evolve our business model into also offering new VoIP service," said Liberty Bell Telecom's President Jay Weber.  VoX's VoIP offerings will enable us to leap into the next generation of telephone service for our customers and others throughout the U.S."

Weber continued, "We built this company on the principles of outstanding customer service, quick problem solving and easy-to-read billing, while passing on substantial savings to our customers.  Working with VoX - who is a leader in the VoIP industry and has a reputation for providing high-quality service - will enable us to continue to meet this pledge to our new and existing customer base."

"We're happy to enable Liberty Bell Telecom as a provider of VoIP services.  Their customers now have access to VoX's nationwide VoIP network, and can enjoy flat-rate calling with all the latest telephone features," said VoX's President Mark Richards.
