There is some good news for GIPS and Skype – the companies are extending their partnership which is one of the most successful in the world of IP communications. By licensing the VoiceEngine technology from Global IP Sound, Skype has been freed up to build a business using VoIP and video without having to worry about the nitty gritty of voice over IP transmission.
