Verso Technologies announced that it has selected BayPackets as the provider of IP-based voicemail and unified communications solutions for its service provider customers. Key to the relationship is the scalability of BayPackets' solution, enabling Verso to cost-effectively deliver advanced VoIP services and enhanced applications to tier one, as well as tier 2 and 3 carriers.

We needed a product that seamlessly integrates with our Class 5 Call Manager, offering an economically viable solution for tier one as well as tier three carriers. BayPackets' platform, coupled with the carrier-grade Clarent Class 5 Call Manager, gives us the flexibility to provide a total next generation solution, including advanced VoIP services and enhanced applications, such as IP-based voicemail, that meets the needs of all of our carrier customers."
