Yesterday I wrote about viral VoIP marketing and how a company like Voiceglo is paying to increase the viral nature of their software via TV ads. Covad used a different approach... They actually have a VoIP movie. The movie came out in September, 2004 so I don't in any way want you to think I am breaking news, just looking at all the different ways you can market. The movie is pretty good actually. I don't know how much it cost to make but it is very entertaining to someone like me who is in the voice over IP market. Would it be interesting to a general IT person or telecom manager? I don't know but it is unique and shows the power of creative thinking coupled with Internet distribution. Enjoy the movie. It has a protagonist, antagonist and even some plot.

A Different Twist To Viral Voip Marketing
VoIP is the single greatest invention ever for interactive advertising. An interactive website may have the basic information about the product in text format, with the usual hyperlinks, graphics, etc., a button to play an audio/visual presentation., and ideally a facility to give the visitor the ability to ask questions or get information directly right at the point where their attention is focused now.
Since not everyone knows what VoIP is or has an application, offering a free VoIP dialer to your visitors has a ten-fold purpose. Obviously number one is to make that all important immediate personal connection.
Internet marketing is evolving and it is revolving around the latest technology. Don’t get left behind in the old school flat advertising world. You must keep up with industry trends to keep your momentum, and interactive advertising is something that you should explore and implement for your business sooner, rather than later.
Has anyone out there heard about WideCircles.com. It seems like a way better service then wasting money on PPC. Apparently they are using refering websites ( forums, blogs, wiki, etc. ) and have a viral word of mouth distributed approach to it. My friend told me he got around 100 visits from single post which cost him $0.40c. I am going to give them a try today . In case you are intrested here is it. http://widecircles.com?s=imt1
