The news of the day is Telrad Connegy has purchased the Zultys assets via Pivot VoIP, Inc. Telrad will be using this acquisition to get into the IP PBX space. They are interested in the Zultys technology.
FYI, Telrad is the company that bought Congruency — the pioneering hosted IP-PBX company that introduced the first color, touch screen IP phone called the iPicasso — well ahead of Cisco — changed it’s name to Telrad Connegy, and then promply mismanaged the business to death.
The fact that Telrad Connegy now owns Zultys is an extremely bad turn of events — I expect the company to now be completely mismanaged into oblivion…
