WiFi in Church

BT may have WiFi enabled the first church – well at least the first one I have heard of. The church is in Wales and the Reverend Keith Kimber at St John’s Rectory Church in Cardiff said, “The church has to move with the times and I wanted to make St John's a sanctuary for everyone, including business people with laptops and mobiles." He continued, "I have no problem with people quietly sending an email or surfing the Internet in church, as long as they respect the church." I am pretty impressed by this whole concept of Internet access in houses of worship. What is next? Perhaps bibles and Korans will be read electronically? No more paper? Laptops in churches and synagogues? Instead of turning to page numbers will we have URLs IMed to us?  The day is coming where houses of worship will be distributing Acrobat documents to us in our seats. For more, here is the full story.
