40,000 plus visitors to Barcelona attending Mobile World Congress or MWC were greeted yesterday to protests with the general theme being anti-corporate/anti-capitalist complaints. Ironically the protests were said to be organized via social networks which of course are enabled by the switches, routers and software on display at the very show which was being protested. Below is one of the defaced signs which exhibits some sort of perverse appreciation for the hundreds of millions of euros being pumped into the local economy as a result of this event.
