Yahoo! On A Plane

The battle to be the search leader knows no limits as is evidenced by the new deal struck between Yahoo! And Connexion by Boeing allowing the search giant to provide search results from a small box on the Connexion user interface.

Connexion by Boeing provides real-time high-speed Internet and entertainment services to airline passengers in flight. Business and leisure travelers can use their laptops to send and receive e-mails, connect to corporate networks, watch live global television, or simply surf the web at speeds that are comparable to a modern home or office. Connexion by Boeing is currently offered on more than 100 routes daily worldwide and will begin offering its new Yahoo-powered services toward the end of this year.
