Sphere, Broadcom Partner

And so the news from INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and Expo in Los Angeles begins. I will be on site throughout the entire event to provide coverage of new product launches, Keynote Speakers and as many of the sessions as I can.

Sphere Communications said Monday that has partnered with BroadSoft so Sphere’s Sphericall IPBX and BroadSoft’s platform BroadWorks Platform.

SIP Trunking enables enterprises to converge their voice and data onto one common IP platform.

Enterprises that utilize the will invariably lower costs by not having to purchase media gateways to connect IP voice services to the PSTN.

With this news, it is pretty clear that we are moving closer to a peering world.
