That day has arrived! With the new fring for iPhone you get 2 way video-calling not just with other iPhone users, but also friends on their Droids or Nokia (Symbian S60) phones.

It supports video calls over 3G as well as Wi-Fi, though obviously performance over 3G isn't as good as Wi-Fi.

Multitasking support is in the new version so you can be always on and available with fring running in the background and alerting you to new video calls, voice calls or chat without proactively opening fring.

It also has a new "Social Stream" feature, which is a chronological stream of all tweets, facebook updates, chats and calls. While the social media stuff is nice to have, the video calling is the killer feature. In fact, it blows FaceTime away because it works over 3G (FaceTime doesn't) and fring can call other mobile phone platforms (FaceTime doesn't). Definitely a must-have app for your iPhone 4!

You can check out my review of fring running on an iPhone 3GS using an older version of fring. Or even better, check out this video demo of the new fring running on an iPhone.

It is a great function, every one will love it event it is not perfect quality yet – But ….
AT&T has been changed data rate plan after Apple release new OS version 4:
- 15 bucks with limit 200 MB/month.
- 25 bucks with limit 2GB/month.
- Or pro plan ….?
I did search web on my 3G about 15 minnutes and I lost 5Mb… Listening Pandora on iphone, I lost alot just an hour. Few hundress bytes lost by using GPS map for once time search over 3G network, …. If using Video call, how many data is transfering over 3G network per minutes ?
So my question is: How much you have to pay for if you go over the limit ? I cannot beleive … if using video call over 3G!
**** Remember : Data Unlimited Access for iphone is no longer available @ AT&T .
What you think ????
