This is deja-vu all over again, since Apple had an outage in 2008 during the 3GS launch. You'd think they'd learn.

If you have an iPhone already, just dial 611. You'll connect to AT&T and be able to pre-order a new iPhone. Yes, this is old school, I know. But hey, if you want your newfandangled iPhone before they sell out this is the way to do it.
