Tom writes 'iHate My iPhone Because its iDead'

Tom Cross, a TMCnet blogger, is not happy about his iDead iPhone. He's lost all his iPhone songs, contact information, favorites, vmail and everything else. AT&T couldn't even recover his voicemail password, thus he was forced to wipe all of his current voicemails and start from scratch. Ouch!

And don't forget all the iPhone outage issues and activation problems. Maybe it was a good idea I decided to skip the iPhonemania yesterday and wait till things die down a little. iPhone 2.0 can wait till all the kinks are worked out.

I've been waiting for the 2.0 software since February - when it was supposed to originally come out, then they postponed it until March... then July..

Then I wanted to update my phone when the software did come out... until I read how it would take approximately 6 hours to do the update since apples servers were crashing..

Finally, I do the update, and lost all of my contact information that I had on my phone, using the same computer..

I'm not sure why everyone loves apple so much, this is a prime example of how they cant get their shit together with their hottest selling product.

I can't wait for the open source phone to become more readily available like Google Android, its going to seriously put the iphone to shame.
