According to this <a href="http://www.boingboing.net/2007/02/12/why_wireless_carrier.html">report</a>, we the <strong>gadget-consuming, mobile phone crazy consumer</strong> just aren't getting a fair deal from the wireless service providers. </font></p>
<p><font size="2">Think about it -- why do we have to choose particular phone, for instance, from a particular carrier? Do we have to do that with our wired phones?&nbsp;Don't they all work on standard wired lines, whether they come from<strong> Vtech</strong> or <strong>Motorola</strong>?</font></p>
<p><font size="2">Is there a bad guy here?</font></p>
<p><font size="2">Looks like the <strong>Federal Communications Commission</strong> may be spending some time this year thinking about issues just like that.</font></p>
