As of right now, there is no confirmation from Google that they are indeed entering the VoIP space.

Nevertheless, Google's interest in purchasing dark fiber and expanding their network could eventually lead to a VoIP offering - if not today, then perhaps tomorrow or the next day...

For now, it is still mere speculation...
