Are people really complaining about 99 cents per song? Are these the same people that paid over $350 for a ticket to see Madonna?

Considering that most cd's at Tower Records are $15 or more for 10 songs, sounds like 99 cents per song is not an awful deal.

Either way, I am old school so I like to have the real thing with lyrics, liner notes, cover art etc...

Then again, I tend to listen to artists that actaully focus on putting out great albums as oppossed to catchy singles...

eMusic's 50 free downloads promo expired on May 31, but 25 free downloads for signing up is still a good deal. Plus, 40 downloads a month for $9.99 -- you can't beat that. There's also plenty of free tracks from samplers available to eMusic members.

I highly recommend eMusic.

No not waist your time or money on e-music site! They will rip you off in any way possible. Nothing but trouble, lies, and unkept promises is all you will ever get from them. We never got even ONE song to download because they said the membership was not completed. No matter what we do, neve get past the "pick your plan" page. Visited with them several times, said we would not
be charged, then when our account was robbed by them, they pretty much said touch shit. DO NO DO BUSSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS. Poor track record to say the least!!!!!

EMusic.com SUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKKS! I simply logged in 'to look' around. This REQUIRES billing information. When I decided NOT to become a member, EMusic has been deducting $$$ from our account for almost a year! Whenever I contact them, they want me to keep on trying to prove I want to stop. Plus we NEVER downloaded anything or completed the membership. EMusic.com even agrees that we did not complete the membership, but won't stop deducting the $$$. We are turning them into the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Protection Agency, State Attorney General's Office - and when we told them that, they only gave us back 3 months..... I am so mad at them -- DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR EMUSIC.COM!!!!!!!! One of their many unhappy 'guests' to their site.
