      <![CDATA[<a href="http://www.teevox.com">Teevox</a>, founded by former MIT students is an iPhone app that allows you to remotely control watching Hulu and Netflix on your computer.  According to <a href="http://techcrunch.com/2010/08/19/teevox/">Techcrunch</a>, Hulu and Netflix are just the beginning. I use <a href="http://www.orb.com">Orb </a>and <a href="http://www.playon.com">PlayOn</a> for remote media access, which are similar - especially PlayOn which supports Hulu and Netflix. Speaking of PlayOn, I just noticed last night that when I went to <a href="http://m.mobile.tv">http://m.mobile.tv</a> within Safari on my iPhone it forced me to add PlayOn to my Home Screen. I could no longer use PlayOn from within Safari. Of course, that may have something to do with Apple <a href="http://www.techflash.com/seattle/2010/08/report_playon_takes_hulu_netflix_to_iphone_with_html5_workaround.html">delaying the approval</a> of the PlayOn native app and finally PlayOn decided to just go with <a href="http://www.techflash.com/seattle/2010/08/report_playon_takes_hulu_netflix_to_iphone_with_html5_workaround.html">their HTML5 workaround</a> and add a home screen icon to circumvent the Apple application process. Still, I wish PlayOn didn't remove the access from within Safari. I may not want to switch out of Safari to launch and use PlayOn.
