Once you buy it, you should be able to do whatever the hell you want to do with it, they have no right (actualy yes they do) but thats only to protect against iliegle copies of games.

Sony gives you the tools to partition the drive and prety musch do what it wanted to do with the 360, render 3d graphics, make a render farm.
