An irate Packet8 customer contacted me stating that Packet8 is selling Phoenix customers their VoIP service in which they have no Phoenix area codes. He states, "The sales people are not telling the Phoenix customers before they sign up. Phoenix is the sixth (6th) largest city in the United States. Get with it!"
The customer signed up with Packet8 and was told he would receive a Phoenix area code. I wonder why he didn't simply port his old Phoenix number over?
In any event, the customer stated, "It has been two months and their customer service center still tells me there is no Phoenix area codes and no ETA on the issue."
My guess is the 1997 Phoenix area lights have something to do with it. Those damn aliens!
