MySpaceIM with Skype launches

MySpaceIM with Skype is now available to the MySpace and Skype global communities. In case you hadn't heard, MySpaceIM with Skype integrates MySpace’s IM client with Skype’s free VoIP calling capability.

According to the news, it is being launched in 20 countries where MySpace has localized communities, MySpaceIM with Skype enables millions of users to place free Skype Internet calls to other MySpace or Skype users.

The partnership, which does not require MySpace users to download any additional Skype software, will also enable users to link their MySpace profiles and photos or avatars to their accounts on Skype.

Users can head on over to http://www.myspace.com/myspaceim to download it. According to a Skype rep, more than 500,000 MySpace users have already installed the BETA version of MySpaceIM with Skype. I'm not one of them. Anyone have anything positive or negative to say after using MySpaceIM. Is it worth trying? I'm pretty busy with the holiday around the corner, so let me know.

this is great news. Myspace and Skype together, they can really make this into something good and proftable.

MyToGo for MySpaceIM and Skype allows ANY Phone to gain access to both MySpaceIM and Skype calling services, this includes calling Skype Names for FREE, calling MySPaceIM Friends for free, checking Skype Voice Mail for FREE as well as using Skype rates for both local and long distance calling, and does not require any software to be installed on the phone. MyToGo for Skype is FREE as well, for more information please go here:

Don't like it.

I think the MyspaceIM and Skype is a no-go (at least for me). I honestly do not want skype on my computer. The extra features that myspaceIM now has is taking up my desktop real-estate. I honestly want it removed.
