SkyStone today released a new version of their 100% software-only Skype gateway. The Skystone Software IP Skype Gateway provides interoperability between both traditional and IP-based PBXs and Skype, employees to leverage inexpensive Skype calling rates directly from their desk phones and without the need for a PC.For more on how it works, check out my previous SkyStone article.

its actually been down loadable for the past week or more on their site.
But this version actually works really good!
Yes, it's out there, but I have to share with other readers here that I have tried this product the other day in comparison with Skip2PBX, which was also mentioned on these pages several months ago, and I found Skip2PBX to be much more "solid" and had a wider variety of functions. Plus, it was a huge difference having the fact of being able to receive multiple calls through the very same web-button.
I found some interesting comparisons here:

Has anyone else compared these two?
