Just How Old Is the Remote Control?

You probably don't ask yourself that question too often (how 'bout never?), but does anyone out there want to venture a guess on just how old this essential piece of couch potato-dom is?

Give you a tinsy bit of a clue on the age of the remote control -- it's older than you think.

I'm guessing the remote control is 40 or so years old. Since I saw just a few days ago the co-creator Robert Adler of the remote control passed away at the young age of 93.

R.I.P. Godfather of the couch potato. Now back to ESPN.
