        <![CDATA[<p>Yes, the connection between Adtran and Digium is significant.  First the initial investment, and now the transfer of employees.  I wonder if Adtran will continue investing in Digium, perhaps even to the point of acquiring them?</p>

<p>Adtran currently has a market cap of around 1.3 billion.  They have a lot VoIP related products, but they would benefit tremendously from Digium (assuming they are not already running Asterisk).</p>

<p>This is pure speculation, with no other information except what I have listed above.</p>]]>
