Best Internet Telephony Magazine Yet - Plus ITEXPO Thoughts

I just received my latest issue of TMC's Internet Telephony Magazine, which is hot off the presses. Check out the cover. (excuse the image quality, I used a webcam)
Internet Telephony Magazine August 2007

On the cover you'll notice a wide array of stories including: Microsoft's big communications plans - namely Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 (OCS 2007), fixed mobile convergence (FMC), power protection & management, fax over IP, and a comprehensive TMC Labs review of the Cantata IMG 1010 VoIP gateway. (Note: The Microsoft story is in the top-right corner, but not readable in the image)

This comprehensive coverage of all IP communications is why TMC's internet Telephony Magazine is still the #1 VoIP magazine! And if you weren't aware already, TMC's Internet Telephony Magazine was the 1st VoIP magazine on the market when it launched in 1997.

The latest issue is pretty thick for a trade magazine these days (98 pages) and includes a brochure for Internet Telephony Conference & Expo (ITEXPO) -- which as I recently mentioned, is just a few week away. The brochure states 200 exhibitors and 300 speakers which makes this latest ITEXPO the largest one in TMC's history. Maybe it's personal bias, but I think having the #1 VoIP magazine in the industry is why TMC's tradeshows are growing year-over-year. The magazine not only educates readers about IP communications, it also obviously promotes ITEXPO. I think that's why when I attend ITEXPO all the exhibitors tell me that ITEXPO draws more buyers than any other show.

They've told me other shows are great for partnering & concert parties, but they tell me they don't hold a candle to TMC's ITEXPO when it comes to generating leads or even the number of sales made right on the show floor.

In any event, I'll be at ITEXPO covering the latest happenings in IP communications. I hope you will be there too. If you are a fan of my blog, feel free to stop me and say hello. I'm often in the registration area or the press room.

Does this magazine cover VoIP applications on mobiles or just providers infrastructure?
