Using these capabilities, Convergin now enables service providers to deploy application servers that act as a unified service platform for mass deployed client devices including wireline, 2G/2.G wireless, and 3G, as well as the growing segment of SIP/IMS and dual mode devices.

The IMS SCIM is known to play a key role in the deployment of service platforms in IMS networks. The SCIM functionality orchestrates service delivery among application server platforms, with their respective capabilities and service sets.
