US LEC Corp, a CLEC, has integrated VoIP and broadband connection directly with the customers' IP-PBX. US LEC Corp., a telecommunications carrier serving businesses and enterprise organizations throughout the Eastern United States, today announced the enhancement of its Dynamic T integrated voice and broadband Internet product to allow direct IP peering with IP PBXs using Session Initiated Protocol (SIP). According to US LEC, "While SIP has become the IP phone standard primarily used for single-location business, US LEC’s Dynamic T SIP is designed to meet the requirements of both single and multi-site businesses with integrated voice and data needs."
The addition of Dynamic T SIP to the Dynamic T product suite also allows for the interconnection with legacy Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) PBXs as well as IP PBXs, giving business customers more IP-based options to better meet their communications needs.
US LEC’s enhanced IP solution provides dynamic bandwidth allocation and on-net enterprise IP-to-IP calling. The direct IP peering between the customer’s IP PBX and US LEC’s VoIP network eliminates the customers’ need to purchase Internet Access Device (IAD) equipment or traditional TDM voice services, resulting in initial and on-going cost savings.
