VoIP Calls Recorder software

Came across another VoIP call recorder from Duxoft Software that captures the RTP stream for recording your VoIP calls. VoIP Calls Recorder is a piece of software that records your conversations in any of the major VoIP protocols, inclusing H.323, SIP, MGCP. So if you have a VoIP hardphone or even a VoIP softphone that supports these industry standards, this software might be worth a look. They also offer a SIP & H.323 softphone. The site seems like a very entrepreneurial, but hey, if the software works, who cares how big the company is or how good the site looks?

Hey I'm testing the "VoIP Calls Recorder" and I have serious problems like some noise on the recording or directly some part without sound. Now I'm trying with "Hot recorder" and everything is working perfectly at the moment (except some emoticons). If not yet they know, you can download a free trail from their website

Freebird Offers The Best of VoIP Call Recorders World

Freebird has announced the immediate availability of PowerGramo (www.powergramo.com) and vEmotion 5.5 (www.voiceemotion.com), its fully-fledged VoIP recorders for PC-based recoding of VoIP conversations. For all their functional similarities, each of them brings something unique to the world of VoIP communication.

PowerGramo, unlike vEmotion, is designed only for Skype. It'll let you record any kind of calls made through Skype and comes with a Skype answer machine, which is believed by many to be one of the most flexible machines currently available in the market. The machine will send different auto answering messages (audio and text) to different Skype contacts and record voicemails when you are not available, busy or doesn't want to pick up the phone.

vEmotion is designed as a one-stop VoIP recorder that supports almost all currently popular VoIP clients, including Skype, Icq, Msn / Wlm, Gtalk, Aim / Triton / Pro, Yim, and QQ. It can also work with nearly all voice-enabled instant messengers, such as Sipphone, VoIPCheap, TelTel, Sipdiscount, Harbibi, VoIPStunt, Express talk and others. Unique to vEmotion is an ability to personalize your conversation by sending the so-called voice emoticons (audio clips) to callers, setting some background music for a call and typing text during a call so that the other person will hear the computer generated voice without your ever opening a mouth!

The recorded conversations in vEmotion and PowerGramo are converted into industry standard MP3 file format with the rate as high as 48000 Hz, which is far better than CD quality. The use of MP3 as audio output standard allows for easy editing and playback using any standard media player without the need for additional CODECS to be installed on PC. Besides, MP3 records are good for sharing with friends and other people either by email or via a web site. To record a call, the programs don't require any hardware or sound card adjustments.

The flexibility of both programs is backed up by a choice of three recording modes, such as a single channel, double channel (when you and your caller are recorded in separate channels) and single channel double rate. For your convenience, there is auto beginning and auto end recording that will automatically detect when a call is made and record it without any user intervention. This means users won't miss any call or record a blank. You will also discover an ability to automatically select the record file name based on the preset format strings.

Both PowerGramo and vEmotion allow users to have data and information securely encrypted and password protected against unauthorized access. But in vEmotion there is an added security option, which allows running it as a background service in stealth mode without showing any user interface. This is good for keeping corporate VoIP calls under a strict control.

vEmotion makes a perfect tool for enterprise-wide call centers. For this purpose, it's necessary to install additional software called Call Record Center, which is available for free. Running as a server, Call Record Center enables you to receive call records via internet from vEmotion clients and manage all call records collectively. It's also possible to query call records based on given users and time span, and replay call records. Statistics for each user is available too.

Find more information about vEmotion at www.voiceemotion.com and about PowerGramo at http://www.powergramo.com/. Free downloadable versions of the software are available too.
