Vonage offers $3.99/month to retain customers

VonageWord is that Vonage is offering defecting customers $3.99/month for a year in order to retain them a Vonage customer. How can Vonage sustain profitability at $4 bucks per month? Anyone want to start the "Vonage files for bankruptcy clock" or should I?

Where did this rumor start?
I sell vonage , and it is nowhere in our offering?

If you know something I dont I want 10 phone lines now!!!!

Vonage Affiliate

Access charges allow DID providers to be able to offer inbound free of charge. Assume that it is a 1c/min inbound charge. If someone is a heavy user of the inbound line, then Vonage makes $$ off each phone line. With this offer, Vonage is able to at least ensure a steady stream of income. And if the user is a heavy user of inbound calling, it might make sense to retain them.

Thanks Tom for the info on Vonage, this company riped me off.

I still want to know where this offer is, 3 days now no one even at Vonage knows of this.

I am a Vonage user and have had nothing but excellent service and excellent customer contact service which compared to my old hard line phone which was the worst service ever .
