This will be my last posting of the year. And what a years it has been. The most exciting thing for Broadvox is the pending merger with Cypress Communications. We look forward to its completion in the new year. As far as the industry, there are just so many eventful things that happened, it is difficult to find five common things on a list. Therefore, I think I will just note a few things related to Broadvox.
2010 included the first Broadvox Partner Summit with over 100 attendees, exhibits by AudioCodes, Digium, Covad and others and a behind the scenes look at the new Cowboys stadium. Broadvox also announced its first hosted virtual IP PBX, GO!VBX. We had our first hospitality suite during COMPTEL and saw a significant increase in business opportunities with major carriers. Broadvox crossed 12 billion minutes per year on the network and 100 employees.
All of the things that we experienced were due in part to the efforts of our Partner Program Members and friends in the media, such as TMC, VON and PhonePlus. I want to thank our partners and wish them well in 2011. Our industry has been impacted like most during the most recent recession but IP communications is on its way up and that is good for all of us. See you on January 3rd, 2011.
Again, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
