Whew! It's Finally over!

Whew! It’s Finally over!

The Broadvox 2011 Partner Summit ended yesterday and it was an event enjoyed by all. We were very happy to have over 130 attendees and 19 sponsors:

  • Aastra
  • ABP Technology
  • AudioCodes
  • BroadSoft
  • Cisco
  • Covad
  • Digium
  • Epygi
  • ICON Voice Networks
  • Ingate
  • Inventive Labs
  • Jazinga
  • Patton Electronics
  • ScanSource
  • snom
  • The SIP School
  • TMCnet
  • Verio
  • X4 Solutions
During the event Broadvox and Cypress communications made three important announcements. GO!VBX, Virtual Business eXchange or hosted virtual PBX solution, was improved in two ways: First, the scalability of the solution increased from 99 seats to thousands of seats, expanding its market from small business only to now include Enterprise clients; Second, Unified Communications features have been added delivering instant messaging, Outlook integration, click to dial and many other communication and collaboration capabilities.

Next, GO!VBX is now available as fully managed offering, GO!VBX Managed. With GO!VBX Managed businesses can look to Broadvox to deliver and install the network (LAN, routers) and if requested the desktop devices.

Finally, GO!Services has been fully released and is now offered with virtual and dedicated web hosted servers, an eCommerce engine with Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security, email with either Microsoft Exchange or Zimbra and Professional services for those needing assistance in expanding their web presence.

The Partner Summit was the first opportunity for many of our Partner Program members to see the benefit of the Broadvox and Cypress merger as the companies collaborated on the updated and new GO!VBX, GO!VBX Managed and GO!Services. And we all given a glimpse of the new Partner portal being develop by the IT guys at Cypress. Can’t wait for its release this summer!

The networking event, a Casino night, was preceded by the arrival of the legendary Football Hall of Famer and successful entrepreneur, Roger Staubach. He shared several stories about his sports past and early entry into business that were an inspiration. He also autographed over two dozen items which were auctioned off after the Casino closed. The most successful at the tables were able to bid for NFL helmets, footballs and number 12 Staubach jerseys. Fun Stuff!

We closed the event by announcing the most successful 2010 Independent Agent, Cross Talk Communications, and Master Agent, Telecom Brokerage Inc. (TBI).

Comments by the attendees were very positive and this morning we will begin planning for next year’s event. So join our winning team as either a member of our partner channel or as an OEM and find greater success selling IP communications and SIP.

See you on Monday with another new recipe and more.
