Channel Partners is more than just a search for new agents. In fact, most of our meetings do not involve expanding the number of agents at all. We discuss industry trends such as the growing shift to cloud computing and hosted communications. We acknowledge the need to continually improve our ability to support a growing and diverse customer base. And it is just about listening. I remind myself and my team we will learn and accomplish more just by listening and making an effort to sincerely respond by improving our business processes, systems and solutions.
Five years ago we did not have a Partner Program or a significant retail business. Today it represents more than 15% of our revenues and is the fastest growing segment of our IP communications business. While Broadvox made significant changes to its business in order to enable retail SIP Trunks. However, without a committed and successful channel of VARs, Master Agents and Independent Agents, we would have failed.
Each Channel Partner conference gives us the chance to express our thanks and resolve to maintain a leadership position with our SIP Trunking and Unified Communications offerings. I know many of you cannot find the time to attend and to you I express my thanks by way of this blog. Always remember that Chad Krantz, Executive Director Channel Sales, your channel managers and I maintain an open door policy and you can call us at any time. There is much we can learn from you and much we would like to share; from the new alliance portal to the updated hosted and fully managed UC solution. You don’t have to wait for the next Channel Partners to speak with us but, know this; we will be there if you do.
